Genes to Organisms: PhD Training Programme in Integrative Biology

front imageThe G2O graduate training Programme has strengths in all areas of animal and plant biology, from cellular and developmental to systems, functional and behavioural levels.

With over 90 supervisors we incorporate three Departments (PDN, Plant Sciences and Zoology) including several groups housed in the Gurdon Institute and the Animal Behaviour Unit (Madingley) as well as relevant supervisors from neighbouring departments, such as Psychology and Engineering. Our research interests are broadly grouped into 4 themes: Cellular Systems, Developmental Biology & Reproduction, Neuroscience & Behaviour, Organisms, Population & Environment.

Our aim is to offer training in all aspects of animal and plant based research, with particular emphasis on cutting edge technology and interdisciplinary projects.
